Certified Medical Assistant Position

Snelling Staffing has an opening for a Certified Medical Assistant with a clinic that has been local to the Baton Rouge area for almost 80 years. The position will pay in the range of $16-$18 per hour, depending on previous experience. The position will work closely with the Psychology department, so previous experience in that field would be greatly preferred but not necessary. Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist physicians in a clinic setting
• Take patient histories and vitals
• Triage calls
• Manage surgery schedule for the physician
• Interact with patients and coworkers with a friendly and professional attitude
