Locum Tenens Opportunity : Physician - OB / GYN

Are you a skilled OB / GYN physician seeking a locum tenens position near Amherst, NE? We're looking for a dedicated provider to join our team and provide coverage for our practice. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to our clinic, labor and delivery unit, and surgical services while enjoying the support of our experienced staff and state-of-the-art facilities.

    We are requesting OB / GYN coverage for a 1 : 2 practice, with a need for 50% provider practice coverage per month ongoing while recruiting 2 physicians.

  • Setting : Clinic, Labor & Delivery, Surgery
  • Full-Time Equivalent (FTE) : 1.0
  • Duties : Clinic, After Hours Call, Labor and Delivery, Gynecologic Surgery, City Call, CNM Back Up
  • Required Procedures : All standard gynecologic procedures in clinic and hospital settings
  • EMR : EPIC
  • Support Staff : Front Desk and Clinical Support Staff, including onsite ultrasound
  • Reason for Coverage : Physician Resignation

    • Requirements

  • Board Certification : Required
  • Nebraska License : Required, or eligibility for Locum Tenens Nebraska license to expedite start date
  • Certifications : BLS, DEA, NRP - Required
  • Availability : Required at time of name clear
  • OB / GYN Residency : Required
  • Clean Malpractice / Background : Preferred
