Physical Therapist

Employment Type : Full-Time | Direct Hire

Compensation : $95,000 – $115,000 annually (based on experience, location, and seniority)

Overview :

Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking a Physical Therapist on behalf of a leading healthcare provider. In this role, you will deliver high-quality patient care while helping individuals improve motor functions, regain independence, and adapt to permanent physical challenges. Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including evaluation of musculoskeletal, neurological, and other physical concerns.
  • Design, implement, and interpret personalized physical therapy treatment programs.
  • Perform or delegate patient treatments including therapeutic exercises, gait training, modalities, and hydrotherapy.
  • Educate patients on proper care, exercise performance, and use of supports.
  • Ensure comprehensive and accurate patient documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care.
  • Communicate progress and compliance with patients, case managers, and coordinators.
  • Support clinical instruction for physical therapy students as needed.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, professional development, and team meetings.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards, HIPAA regulations, and safety guidelines.

    • Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy (required).
  • Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy (preferred).
  • Current state licensure (or eligibility).
  • 0–5 years of clinical experience in an orthopedic or outpatient setting preferred.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to provide exceptional patient care while maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Proficiency in documentation, EMR systems, and standard therapy equipment.
