Our client is currently seeking a Reliability and Continuous Improvement Engineer for a hybrid position!

Responsibilities :

  • Perform root cause analysis of equipment failures.
  • Analyze and document processes to increase maintenance wrench time.
  • Assess spare part and asset criticality.
  • Conduct continuous improvement analyses to identify root causes of equipment failures and improve process efficiency.
  • Develop bill of materials to support maintenance planning and inventory relevancy.
  • Standardize and re-engineer parts to reduce supply disruption risks, costs, and improve reliability.
  • Link parts to assets in the bill of materials for maintenance and inventory planning.
  • Assess spare parts for criticality of parts and assets.
  • Analyze MRO transactional and inventory data to identify value-adding opportunities.
  • Collaborate with change management processes to implement recommendations.
  • Utilize Lean / Six Sigma methodologies for process analysis and improvement.
  • Establish metrics to measure the effectiveness of new processes and quantify benefits.
  • Prepare formal documentation for opportunities, including current and future states, implementation plans, risk mitigation, and benefits.

Qualifications & Requirements :

  • Strong technical writing skills and knowledge of GMP requirements.
  • Ability to create a vision for change and build stakeholder consensus.
  • Strong presentation skills, comfortable with management levels.
  • Self-motivated and takes initiative.
  • Experience working with mechanical and electrical equipment and parts.
  • Knowledge of CMMS software (Maximo preferred).
  • Bachelor's in Engineering or Professional Engineering License preferred.
  • Certified Reliability Manager and Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
  • Willing to travel up to 50%.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in maintenance / reliability, with 5+ years using project planning software like Microsoft Project.
