As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a chemical and petrochemical location. Your primary responsibilities will include monitoring assigned areas, responding to situations as they arise, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This position is a driving post, so you will spend much of your time patrolling the premises by vehicle, contributing to a secure environment for everyone on site. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at the chemical or petrochemical location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following Allied Universal protocols.Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards.Monitor access points and observe for any unusual activity or potential security-related concerns within the location.Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to client and Allied Universal requirements.Remain alert and attentive throughout the shift to help to deter potential threats and respond promptly to any incidents or emergencies.Communicate professionally with staff, visitors, and contractors, providing assistance as needed while maintaining security-related protocols.What We're Looking For :

A valid driver's license in the state where the job is located is required and must meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Driving positions are primarily preferred for this post.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
