About the Role

As a Senior Loan Processor , youll manage loan files across agency, government and Non-QM products, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and timeliness from start to finish.

Responsibilities include :

Review, verify, and analyze borrower documentation (income, assets, credit, title, insurance).

Work with Loan Officer, Borrower, Underwriter, Escrow, Closer and Funders throughout the transaction.

You will have an assistant to help collect HOI, Payoffs, Ordering Appraisals, Title Documents and other supporting documentation - so that you can work on the income / credit / asset and qualifying of the loan.

Ensure compliance with direct lending protocols , including :

• TRID
• Loan Estimates (LEs)
• Closing Disclosures (CDs)
• Doc drawing
• Warehouse bank management
• Funding authorizations
• Post-close conditions
• Selling loans to investors
• Prepare files for underwriting and satisfy conditions promptly.
• Order, track, and review appraisals, title, and other third-party services.
• Maintain proactive communication with loan officers, underwriters, closing agents, and borrowers.
• Drive loan files forward to meet deadlines and close on time.
• Provide oversight and mentorship to junior processors as needed.

Who Were Looking For

Were seeking a senior-level processor who is highly experienced, detail-oriented, and proactive.

Our ideal candidate has :

Minimum 5 years of mortgage processing experience (direct lender and broker).

Proficiency with Conventional, FHA, VA, and Non-QM loans (bank statement, DSCR, CPA-prepared P&L, asset-based financing).

Deep knowledge of direct lending protocols and compliance requirements.

Experience with doc drawing, funding, warehouse banks, and investor loan sales.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple files under deadlines.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Management or team leadership experience preferred.

Tech proficiency in LOS, CRM, and mortgage tech platforms.

Openness to learn and get better every day.
