Human Resources Associate
The Human Resources Associate is responsible for providing administrative support for the HR Department, in particular the HR Operations Team. The HR Associate, reporting to the Manager of HR Operations, will be a key member of the team responsible for daily system transactions across multiple disciplines. The HR Associate acts as the first point of contact for team member questions regarding onboarding, Paid Time Off (PTO), and general HR inquiries. Additionally, they will be responsible for project management of key processes related to the HR System specifically focused on creating end user ease of use.
Human Resources Information Systems
- Maintains team member data including auditing data, following up to ensure data integrity, and supporting self-service initiatives
- Creates and edits system documentation for the HR Team and Enterprise Team Members
- Supports the HR Team with training as needed around processes and procedures
- Provides support and assistance related to the HRIS systems to team members and managers
- Creates, updates and supports reports generated via the HRIS system
- Collaborates with HRIS and other HR Teams on testing, data audits and optimization projects
Administrative
Provides seamless and client focused support, responding to team member questions and resolving issues timely, throughout the team member lifecycleRedirects team members regarding inquiries to Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and other internal departments as neededCoordinates employment and payroll verificationsAdministers the Referral bonus programPrepares PTO payout calculations for team members at terminationManages I-9 process by ensuring appropriate documents are used, maintains records, and audits for accuracyReviews all Unemployment requestsProcesses invoices for HR DepartmentProjects
Reviews and coordinates necessary updates to the HR Department intranet pageGathers preliminary HR data needed for internal and external auditsMeets with internal and external auditors for walkthrough of control testingPrepares data and reports required for HR compliance, such as EEO-1 and policy acknowledgmentsSupports projects within the HR Team to gain knowledge and understand of all HR functionsAssists HR Team members as necessaryRequired Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and / or Related Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates Degree in the area of Human Resources or Business Administration preferred.Minimum of 2 years directly related administrative / clerical experience required.Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel and PowerPointProficiency with Workday preferredAble to prioritize work. Must be detail oriented, extremely accurate, able to follow up on long-term, ongoing projects and meet all deadlines with minimal supervision.Must be able to successfully function in a fast paced, diversified environment and work under pressure.Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.Strong interpersonal relationship, problem solving and customer service skills are required.A collaborative team player with great initiativeHighly organized with the ability to handle multiple priorities at onceAble to anticipate needs and drive solutionsAble to maintain the highest level of confidentialityThe expected hiring range for this position is $26.44 - $33.05 hourly for work performed in the primary location (Philadelphia, PA). This expected hiring range covers only base pay and excludes any other compensation components such as commissions or incentive awards. The successful candidates starting base pay will be based on several factors including work location, job-related skills, experience, qualifications, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. Work location may be flexible if approved by the Company.
