About The Position

Job Title : Echo Tech

Profession : Radiology / Cardiology

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day 5x8

Hours per Shift : 8 hours (07 : 45 - 16 : 15)

Experience : Minimum 2 years required

License : State License Required

Certifications : BLS, RDCS or RCS

Must-Have :

• Experience with Adult Acute Care
• Experience with Adult Outpatient
• Experience in Bubble Study
• Experience in Emergency Department
• Skills in Imaging with Contrast Agents
• Familiarity with Portable Studies
• Proficient in Right Ventricular Inflow Tract (RVIT)
• Proficient in Right Ventricular Outflow Tract (RVOT)
• Knowledge of Transesophageal Echocardiogram (TEE)
• Experience with Treadmill Stress Echo

Description :

Seeking an Echo Tech for a dynamic environment.

The role involves performing echocardiograms in a busy clinical setting.

Daily caseload includes approximately 8 cases per technician.

The Echo suite contains two rooms where the majority of scans will be conducted.

Some cases will require portable scans, such as in ICU settings.

Types of cases include ICU, emergency department, inpatient, and outpatient.

Patients will include adults and geriatric populations.

Common diagnoses include aortic stenosis, congestive heart failure, and atrial fibrillation.

Experience with Cerner charting system is preferred.

Equipment will include standard echo machines and portable units.

Echocardiogram procedures will vary and may include stress echo and TEE.

All procedures will adhere to established protocols for safety and quality.
