Responsibilities Work in a diagnostic and interventional cardiac cath lab Care for young, middle-aged, and older adult patients Perform procedures such as diagnostic catheterizations, coronary athrectomy, IABP, Impella, orbital and rotoblader athrectomy, PCI, and PTCA Uses Epic EMR; Epic experience is required Day shift, 4x10 hour days from 7 : 30 AM to 6 : 00 PM with rotating days off Includes 7 on-call shifts and 5 late shifts every 6 weeks with a 30-minute call back time One week of weekend call coverage every 6 weeks as well as one Saturday shift for elective cases Holiday rotation required Responsible for performing advanced cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures All travelers and staff participate in rotating holiday and weekend coverage Return travelers must have a minimum one-year separation before returning; new policies apply after July 1, 2025 Travelers residing within 100 miles are considered local and are not eligible; exceptions apply for those 50-99.9 miles away for a single assignment Modules and Epic training are required and may be completed pre-start or during orientation Scrub attire required per facility policy Requirements Three years of recent Cath Lab experience required ARRT with a VA or other state license, or RCIS / CCI certification required; license required if applicable Current BLS and ACLS certifications required Current RTT or RTR status Interventional radiology or critical care experience preferred Experience using Epic EMR required Must provide two professional references at time of consideration Submission of PDF copies of Driver's License and Social Security Number required May work on another state license while Virginia license is pending (within 90-day authorization period) Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-601038.
