Location : Remote + up to 50% Onsite in Albany, NY

Position Description :

Business Analyst with Mainframe Experience :

The candidate will support the modernization of the Client's system with a core focus on the financial module and will be primarily responsible for analyzing existing legacy mainframe code in COBOL with a focus on business analysis and extracting embedded business logic.

• This role requires an experienced candidate that has worked on Child Support systems and has implementation experience in documenting and analyzing current-state processes for managing collections, disbursements, adjustments, un-identified payments and reconciliation.
• The candidate should have Child Support domain experience in the financial management module and has hands-on experience with transforming legacy Child Support systems in other states.
• The candidate will work closely with State subject matter experts to create to-be functional models, requirements, etc. and ensure that all child-support specific policies, case management rules, and federal regulations are accurately reflected in the transformation system.
