Hiring a Crew Superintendent Immediately who is willing to travel to assist in the rehabilitation and repair of pipelines, bridges, and buildings throughout the United States. The Crew Superintendent is responsible for the direct supervision and management of a crew of less than 10 employees in an assigned area. You’ll supervise the operation and maintenance of equipment and evaluate work areas to determine the type of work required and materials to be used. This position will recommend and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance and product quality. The Crew Superintendent must be willing to work outside and assist the employees as needed with the installation of our FRP and polymer concrete products. Must be hands-on with a can-do attitude and solution provider willing to think out of the box to move the project forward.
Starting pay is $80,000 - $100,000 per year dependent upon experience.

What You’ll Do :
Coordinate production schedules with HQ and report / estimate worker hour requirements for completion of job assignmentMaintain the crew’s high production rate and high moraleCoordinate with HQ regarding tools and materials needed to be delivered at specified times to conform to work schedulesKeep an accurate inventory of all equipment and power tools issued to the project and return them back when project is completeCoordinate with office to ensure all pieces of equipment are in working order and / or have proper time for repairsFacilitate internal project meetings with customer, Field Engineer(s) and appropriate sub-contractors to make necessary changes and finalize the work scheduleInterpret and enforce company policies as applied to employees and enforce safety regulations, standard operating procedures and quality standardsConduct weekly safety / toolbox meetingsFollow and enforce all safety protocolsAttend job-site safety meetings as required and enforce decisionsInterpret job order requirements and instruct Foreman on how to fulfill the job ordersPromptly resolve any customer complaintsAnalyze and resolve work problems that arise on the crewHold crew accountable for attendance, paperwork submission and professionalismEvaluate staffing needs and schedule work two weeks in advance, notifying crew employees of schedule and coordinating travel arrangementsManage crew performance and implement discipline as neededBuild bench strength on crew to cross-train and provide for succession planningWhat We Need From You :
High School diploma or equivalent preferredPrior construction experience required; working in the Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) industry highly desirableFive to ten years related industry experience and / or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience requiredMust be able to read and interpret construction drawings and follow the requirements laid out on the plans and specificationsMust have had progressive experience in the construction industryMust have working knowledge of computer and web-based programsValid driver’s license required with clean motor vehicle reportMust be able to wear respirator and body harness while entering confined spacesAbility to lift / move up to 50 pounds and use pneumatic, battery powered or electric toolsComfortable working outside at job sites with moving vehicles and mechanical operations, with occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particlesAbility to travel extensively, up to 70% of the time, and potentially for months at a time during the busy season within a large territory
