Job Summary :

Sorts, prices, and prepares donated items for placement in the store.

Essential Functions :

  • Inspects donated items for overall quality and determines disposition of items based on store manager's direction.
  • Places items in appropriate locations for pricing and / or distribution.
  • Prepares household items for the store according to the store quality and pricing standards.
  • Uses pricing machine, adhesive price tags and tagging gun to price items in accordance with store standards and Store Manager's direction.
  • Meets or exceeds goals and standards of production and quality.
  • Accomplishes assigned cleaning routine.
  • Assists in the training of workers and consumers in cooperation with the Workforce Development Department staff.

Additional Responsibilities :

  • CARF : Ensure documentation and compliance with CARF standards.
  • Safety : Maintain applicable safety standards, rules, and regulations in areas of responsibility.

  • Carries out additional duties assigned by the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, or Key Holder.
  • Education and / or Experience :

    High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Experience in sales is preferred.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :

  • Able to stand for two hours at a time over a period spanning up to eight hours.
  • Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
