At our Aiken Non-Wovens' facility, our goal is to strive to zero losses. Reporting to the Maintenance & Reliability Leader, this position will lead 24 / 7 / 365 maintenance execution to ensure safe, effective, efficient, continuous plant operation through proactive maintenance and reliability of the facility and equipment. The Maintenance Supervisor supports design and process changes, installations, troubleshooting, completing repairs and providing data to improve maintenance and reliability processes. They also supervise the hourly Maintenance Chief and Multi-craft technicians to minimize scheduled and unscheduled downtimes. Excellent interpersonal skills, leadership, driving change and achieving results are essential.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensures a safe and environmentally compliant workplace where safety is a priority.Sustainability and Environmental Compliance / StewardshipLeads and support safety initiatives and processes to drive to zero incidentsEducate team members on the safe operations of new processes, modifications or management of change (MOC) processesEnsure maintenance activities adhere to safety regulations and company policies.Drives safety practices in maintenance - JHA / Pre-task safety planning, LTT, guarding, etcTrains and develops employees to safely perform their jobsExecution of Plant Maintenance Strategy
Drive a zero Environmental Health & Safety incident culture, support and participate in incident investigations to determine root cause, identify preventive actions, and correct unsafe conditions and acts immediately.Communicate effectively with all levels and departments of the plant.Direct, motivate, and lean a team of multi-craft technicians to complete maintenance tasks safely and efficiently.Promote precision maintenance technics and coach techs as needed in proper maintenance practices to prevent needed rework.Conduct routine audits of EHS adherence, completeness, work order accuracy, time allotment, housekeeping, etc.Ensure equipment troubleshooting is done with a logical systematic approach to correctly identify and resolve issues, escalating to management when necessary, and recommending solutions.Work with Maintenance Planners and Reliability Engineers to develop weekly schedules for 100% available maintenance time, and complete / close WO's.Utilize Reliability Engineers and others to solve problems to root cause, implement actions that prevent reoccurrence, improve operations, etc.Develop, schedule, and provide training for the maintenance technicians to ensure specialty knowledge is at least two deep, and adhere to regulatory requirements.Utilize the Maintenance Escalation chain to minimize response times.Enter time in the payroll system as required, and manage overtime, vacations and shift relief.JOB REQUIREMENTS
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
2-year technical degree; 4-year degree preferred (EE, EET, ME, or MET); a combination of education and maintenance supervisory experience will be considered.CMRP certified preferred5 years industrial maintenance experienceIndustrial utility and facility system knowledgePeople leadershipPREFFERED EXPERIENCE
Working experience and application of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)Fiberglass mat or paper manufacturing experienceContractor management to perform project and maintenance activitiesWork and personnel scheduling and planning; preferably in a Union environmentStrong electrical, PLC and controlsVery high mechanical aptitude, including pneumatics, hydraulics, and power trainsWorking in a CMMS environment; SAP preferred Experience leading a Unionized workforceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES :
