About The Position

Job Title : Cath Lab Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 10 hours (07 : 00 - 17 : 30)

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required

License : Registered Nurse License

Certifications : ACLS, BLS

Must-Have : Epic experience within the last 6 months preferred

Description :

Cath Lab RN position with 4x10 hour days.

Call required on weeknights from 7 PM to 7 AM, and weekends from 7 AM to 7 PM.

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Travel experience is preferred.

Key skills include :

Cardioversion, Circulate Procedures, Diagnostic Cardiac Catheterizations,

Interpretation and Management of Dysrhythmias,

Interventional Cardiac Catheterizations,

Montoring Procedural Sedation,

Pulmonary Artery Line / Swan Ganz monitoring,

Right heart catheterization,

Scrub Procedures.

Unit supports interdisciplinary teams including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, and Transportation.

Patient demographics include adults and geriatrics.

Candidates must be flexible with call requirements and weekend coverage.

No local candidates within a 50-mile radius are allowed.

A thorough understanding of Epic EMR is preferred.

No more than 3 days of requested time off will be auto-approved.

No time off will be allowed during holidays.

Travel pairs or groups are not permitted.

Minimum of 2 years of experience is necessary.

Candidates who were formerly permanent staff must have been away for at least 1 year before reapplying.
