Required Qualifications
- Working knowledge of the practices, procedures, processes, and / or protocols for the provision of counseling services in a mental health agency or college or university counseling center.
- Working knowledge of college student development.
- Experience in a mental health or private setting providing mental health treatment services to young adults.
Special Licenses, Registration, Or Certification
Licensed in VA as a licensed professional counselor, psychologist, or social worker.Education Or Training
Master's degree in a mental health field, counseling, social work or psychology.Internship at a University / College Counseling Services or mental health agency.Completion of graduate internship at a mental health agency.Additional Considerations (supplemental Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Experience, Licensure, Certification
Doctoral degree in counseling, social work or psychology.Conditions Of Employment
