  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $1930 - $2070\n

  • Float Zone : Assignments may be at any Centura Health location within 60 miles of Colorado Springs city center\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a participating NLC state (required)\n
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (required); Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred\n
  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)\n
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification (required)\n
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (required)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent clinical nursing experience (telemetry or MedSurg preferred)\n
  • Ability and willingness to float to multiple hospital units and Centura Health facilities as needed\n

    • \n\nTravel RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, and review of clinical data\n
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team\n
  • Perform therapeutic and diagnostic interventions including IVs, wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collection\n
  • Advocate for patient health, safety, and rights, providing education to patients and families\n
  • Deliver compassionate, relationship-based nursing care that respects each patient’s preferences and values\n
  • Delegate tasks to non-RN personnel in accordance with Colorado state and hospital policy\n
  • Serve as a professional role model, mentor, and preceptor for new staff or nursing students\n
  • Participate in quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and nursing research activities\n
  • Maintain professional records and pursue ongoing education to ensure nursing competency\n
  • Effectively manage resources and patient flow, adapting to changing assignments and unit needs\n
