Responsibilities

• Design & experience on windings design using advanced techniques
• Perform electrical, thermal, and mechanical design calculations for windings
• Select conductor types and insulation materials suitable for different applications
• Optimize designs for performance, short-circuit withstand, losses, and thermal efficiency
• Prepare detailed winding drawings, manufacturing instructions, and Bill of Materials (BOM)
• Collaborate with mechanical and electrical design teams to ensure complete transformer integration
• Support prototype development, manufacturing trials, and testing of windings
• Troubleshoot and provide solutions for design / manufacturing issues
• Ensure compliance with IEC, IEEE, ANSI, and customer-specific standards
• Strong knowledge of transformer design principles (losses, thermal performance, insulation coordination, and mechanical strength)
• Proficiency in CAD and design software tools (AutoCAD, Inventor, NX, or equivalent)
