Job Title : Research Scientist Department : Medicine | Radiology
Research Scientist to participate in the development and implementation of a nationally competitive program developing innovative translational diagnostic medical imaging technology within the Department of Radiology at The Ohio State University. Responsibilities include : develops, implements, and validates innovative techniques and methodologies for reconstruction and processing of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) data; plans, designs and executes advanced research experiments; conducts statistical analysis, evaluation and interpretation of data; assists with raw data archival and curation; develops new and supports on-going collaborative research opportunities; assists other investigators by contributing technical expertise; plans and writes manuscripts, articles, abstracts and research reports for publication in peer-reviewed journals; writes and submits grant proposals of original research in the area of biomedical imaging as Principal Investigator (PI), co-investigator or collaborator to obtain external funding support of research; participates in supervision and training of junior research staff, residents, and undergraduate & graduate students.
