  • Position : Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)\n
  • Setting : Women's Services - LDRP, Acute Care\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 10 / 2025 – End : 2 / 9 / 2026)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7pm–7am), 3 shifts / week\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours / week\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $2350–$2520\n
  • Charting System : EpicCare Inpatient EMR\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Idaho or compact state\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent LDRP / Labor & Delivery experience (postpartum experience preferred)\n
  • Required certifications : BLS, ACLS, NRP, STABLE (AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced preferred)\n
  • Proficient in newborn stabilization and autonomous management of laboring patients\n
  • Experience with titrating IV drips (Magnesium, Pitocin, Insulin)\n
  • Ability to work independently during night and weekend shifts\n
  • Comfortable floating for safety tasks as needed\n

    • \n\nL&D Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver comprehensive care for laboring and postpartum patients, including well baby and well mom care\n
  • Stabilize high-risk and critical patients, including hypertensive crisis and hemorrhage protocol\n
  • Serve as newborn nurse during C-sections (not circulating)\n
  • Autonomously manage laboring patients and collaborate with OB and pediatric physicians\n
  • Titrate and monitor IV drips as required\n
  • Document patient care in Epic EMR\n
  • Participate in self-scheduling and equitable distribution of weekends and holidays\n
  • Adhere to hospital dress code and scrub requirements\n
