Hospitalist Physician

AdventHealth Medical Group is looking for a dynamic and quality-focused nocturnist to join our growing team of hospitalists at our highly rated, 364 bed Hospital in Daytona Beach, FL.!

We are seeking a physician who will model and lead excellence in clinical practice, doctor-patient relationships, and professionalism while maintaining AdventHealth s Mission, Vision, Values.

The AdventHealth Daytona Beach team consists of (20) day physicians, (4) nocturnists, and (2) APP s. Our hospitalists work in teams rotating on a 7 on / 7 off schedule. Our shifts run from (7a-7p) and (7p-7a) - 182 shifts per year.

Collectively, the AdventHealth Medical Group Hospitalists cover 5 hospitals in Volusia and Lake counties, allowing opportunities for collegial cross-coverage and additional shift pick-ups with generous compensation at campuses other than the primary campus.

Requirements of the position include

• Board Certification / Eligibility through ABIM or ABFM
• Team player with a patient-first mindset
• Excellent communication skills
• Active Florida license (or ability to secure active, unrestricted licensure)
• DEA License required or ability to obtain
• Ability to collaborate closely with consultants and support staff

Practice Overview

The practice is a part of AdventHealth Medical Group. Our hospitalist team is a substantial percentage of our Medical Group, currently with over 80 providers. AHMG is a sister organization of AdventHealth which employs 350+ physicians in 27 individual service lines. This aligned model and practice management experience provides the opportunity for physicians to focus on the clinical aspects of medicine.
