Overview
Process Engineering role in the Packaging Department at ams OSRAM. The position focuses on providing technical support, process improvement, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure safety, quality, and productivity on packaging lines.
Responsibilities
- Providing technical support to the automotive lighting packaging lines
- Writing and maintaining work instructions, control plans, process flow, and process failure modes and effects analysis documents
- Performing analysis and root cause investigation into quality concerns, and implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence
- Driving continuous improvement activities and utilizing LEAN methodologies to improve safety, quality, and productivity
- Training manufacturing personnel in the use and maintenance of new equipment and processes
- Leading / coordinating activities with cross-functional teams to execute process improvements and quality investigations
- Further developing process control systems to improve the safety, quality, and productivity of packaging lines
- Collaborating with shop floor staff and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement and maintain a supportive presence
