Shift : 6 : 00 AM – 6 : 30 PM

Rate : $95 / hour

Guaranteed Hours : 24 hours / week

Contract Length : 91 days (13 weeks)

State License Required : Arizona

On-Call : Schedule to be determined by facility

Weekends : Schedule to be determined by facility

Position Summary

The NICU Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care to critically ill and premature newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. The RN will monitor vital signs, administer medications, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and provide emotional support to families.

Important Submission Requirements\n\nAZ Residents : Candidates with an Arizona home address (per driver’s license) will NOT be considered.\n\nA copy of the driver’s license must be included in submission.\n\nExperience : Minimum 24 months of current NICU experience – REQUIRED\n\nCertifications : Required : NRP, BLS (AHA or American Red Cross only)\n\nMust be active upon submission and included in the profile\n\nLicense : Active Arizona RN license – must have no license hits\n\nTravel Experience : Preferred\n\nFlu Vaccination : Required (Banner declination forms available upon request)\n\nVaccination status must be listed in submission notes\n\nRTO (Requested Time Off) : Must be less than 7 days total\n\nNo RTO approved during the first week or holidays\n\nCompliance & Documentation Requirements\n\nBanner Cover Page : Must be fully completed (all accepted facilities, departments, and shifts noted)\n\nResume : Must include all facilities, bed sizes, trauma levels, and units worked\n\nSkills Checklist : Specific to NICU discipline and dated within one year\n\nLicense Verification : Must be dated within 30 days of submission\n\nCertifications : Active at time of submission\n\nDriver ’s License : Copy required (non-AZ address)\n\nAdditional Notes\n\nStart date should align with or immediately follow the order start date.\n\nCandidates must be ready to accept immediately upon offer (“pre-closed”).\n\nIf a traveler withdraws or becomes unavailable, notify immediately.\n\nBanner has specific background check and compliance standards — must be reviewed and attested to before submission.
