The Medical Assistant will be a key contributor to our first-class care team. They will deliver on our commitment to excellence to our patients and help us grow through their role. The Medical Assistant will have end-to-end responsibility for the direct patient care experience navigation. This role is core to partnering with the care team in supporting patients in their journey toward their best health. This position has an emphasis on customer / patient care excellence, privacy, compliance and serving in a dynamic health setting.
- Establish a strong rapport with the patient, to include delivering an exceptional patient care experience.
- Prepare patients for their visit to include communicating details around their scheduled visit, explaining all relevant information clearly, take vitals, and complete updates to patient record as required.
- Prepare equipment and examination rooms, and ensure clean instruments are available for the daily care center operations.
- Assist provider with medical treatments, procedures, and exams
- Manage inventory of medical supplies and equip exam rooms with appropriate supplies
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Working hours include morning, night, or weekend hours
- This position requires 100% on-site work at the care center location and may also involve movement between clinics as needed
