The ideal candidate will have experience with TIG welding and experience welding on aluminum, bronze, and stainless steel. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Interpret architectural drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements Fabricate structural components and decorative elements according to specifications Select appropriate welding techniques and materials for each project Operate welding equipment safely and effectively Conduct quality inspections to ensure finished products meet design standards Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Proficiency in various welding techniques, including TIG welding. Ability to make visually appealing welds. SKILLS and EXPERIENCE : Proven experience as a welder, preferably in an architectural or artistic fabrication setting Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity Knowledge of metal fabrication processes and materials Welding certification(s) preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS : Varying standing and sitting for extended periods throughout the day. Occasional lifting, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. Exposure to varying environments, including loud, hot, and smoke-filled areas.
