Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780–$1910 per week

Assignment Length : 13 weeks

Healthcare Setting : ICU (Neuro / Trauma focus)

Location : Fort Wayne, IN 46804 (Indiana nursing jobs)

Shift : 12-hour nights (5 : 00 PM – 5 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Patient Ratio : 2 : 1 (occasionally 3 : 1 for stable patients)

Unit Size : 34 beds

EMR System : Cerner

Scrub Color : Navy

Floating : Required to other units as needed

Start Date : October 27, 2025

End Date : January 26, 2026

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of ICU RN experience (neuro / trauma background preferred)

Active Registered Nurse license (RN license)

BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required

Proven competency in managing care for high-acuity patients

Must reside more than 50 miles from facility (local candidates not accepted)

Ability to float to other units as needed

ICU Nurse Responsibilities

Deliver expert care to critically ill patients in neuro and trauma ICU settings

Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR

Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training to maintain high standards of care

Float to other ICU units as required
