As a Security Officer - Utilities Dispatch in Delaware City, DE, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Dispatch Officer supporting a dynamic utilities location. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, help to deter potential security-related incidents, and maintain strong communication with team members. You will also play a key role in access control and provide outstanding customer service, responding quickly to situations as they arise. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime Tue 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM Wed 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM Fri 06 : 00 AM - 06 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor and manage all incoming and outgoing communications at the dispatch center, coordinating responses as needed for incidents and requests within the utilities location.
  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, dispatching appropriate personnel or resources as required.
  • Document and track all incidents, calls, and communications in accordance with Allied Universal protocols.
  • Maintain clear and concise communication with field personnel, management, and emergency services as necessary to facilitate prompt responses.
  • Assist in monitoring surveillance systems or alarms and relay relevant information to appropriate team members.
  • Support the ongoing operations of the dispatch center by keeping logs, reports, and records up-to-date.

  • Minimum Requirements :

  • Possess a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration.
  • Access control and / or badge experience is preferred.
  • Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A security-related guard card or license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
