ICU RN Job Details Location : Peoria, Illinois 61605 Healthcare Setting : Acute Care – Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 10 / 10 / 2025 – End : 1 / 9 / 2026) Nursing Shift : 12 hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM) Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed Weekend & Holiday : Every other weekend and holiday rotation Charting System : Epic EMR Estimated Weekly Salary : $1990 - $2130 Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Illinois RN license or proof of application Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required) Experience with PEG tube care / feedings, CVC / PICC / Midline usage, and tracheostomy care Proficient in caring for sedated and ventilated patients, titrating vasopressors, sedation, and pain control drips Ability to read telemetry strips and operate Phillips telemetry monitors Must pass comprehensive drug screening (OSF is a Drug-Free Campus) ICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in an 8-bed ICU Manage nurse-to-patient ratios of 1 : 2-3 Administer and titrate critical care drips (Precedex, Propofol, Fentanyl, Versed, Lasix, Insulin, Amiodarone, Nitro, Levophed, Dopamine, Cardizem, and more) Perform wound care, IV antibiotics administration, and post-surgical care Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals Float to Med-Surg unit as needed Document patient care using Epic EMR Participate in orientation and ongoing clinical training Join our healthcare team in Peoria, Illinois—apply now for this ICU Registered Nurse job and take the next step in your nursing career!
