We are seeking an experienced, customer service focused Front Services Assistant Manager at The Cherokee Hotel at Harrah's in Cherokee, NC. We provide a first-class parking services and seek friendly, outgoing individuals with a desire to create a guest experience that exceeds the guest's expectations. We provide valet parking services seven days a week.
Full-Time Position Available ( Open Availability Required)
Hours and shifts may vary based on business needs
Annual Salary : $60,000
The Assistant Manager of Front Services provides support to the Operations Manager to oversee the team and all matters relating to front services at the Cherokee Valley River Casino & Hotel.
Job Duties :
- General oversight of the valet team, bell staff, and shuttle operation
- Lead a team of valets, shuttle drivers and bell staff with a focus on operational and customer service excellence while fostering a productive, cooperative, and inclusive working environment to maximize morale, productivity, and efficiency / effectiveness
- Demonstrate an understanding of the business need through the shuttle schedule and must provide additional coverage with shuttle runs and shuttle team training
- Assist with administrative functions such as, but not limited to, scheduling, Fuel Card balancing, productivity reports, hiring, training, and overtime management
- Conduct coaching and counseling with team members and ensure accountability in meeting performance expectations
- Must be highly efficient in handling customer disputes and addressing the customers' needs while continuing to contribute to the overall success of the business
- Training team members in customer service, safety, and inclusion
- Develop and maintain a positive working relationship with hotel management
- Attend meetings when necessary
- Coordinate with hotel for posting of parking charges to guest folios
- Organize and set up team members for amenity drops and luggage storage
- Exercise comprehensive decisions on priorities for bell staff, valets and drivers on shift
- Immediate response to reports of accidents, incidents or safety concerns
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve overall front services objectives
- Maintain a courteous and professional working relationship with all guests, partners, company subordinates, fellow associates, supervisors, and managers
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Requirements :
Two years of general supervisory experience or one year of front service supervisory experience is requiredThree years of experience in guest service and hospitality is required; hotel front services experience is preferredCandidate must have a valid driver's licenseCandidate must be at least 18 years of ageCandidate must have a clean motor vehicle recordMust demonstrate the following essential knowledge and skills :
