Your mission as the Field Service Engineer is to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions, delivering unmatched customer satisfaction and upholding the highest standards of safety. You are committed to ensuring the performance and longevity of your customers technology through your expertise. Your work is important for supporting the operational success and technological advancement of industries relying on these technologies.

You will

  • Report into the Operations Manager.
  • Conduct planned and ad hoc visits to inspect, service, troubleshoot, and repair various technical systems. You will also diagnose any issues to prevent equipment downtime.
  • Perform installations, ensure safety compliance, and document activities.
  • Be the on-site contact, providing service recommendations and addressing customer needs promptly.

  • You have 2 - 4 years of experience in a similar role. General understanding of mechanical processes. Understanding in what pattern the tool / product is operating, and what principles it follows.
  • System Diagnostic
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and software to identify and troubleshoot issues within (vacuum) systems

  • Electrical and Mechanical Skills
  • Great foundation in both electrical and mechanical engineering principles to repair components such as motors, seals, and control systems. This enables you to perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, filter replacements, and system calibrations, to extend the lifespan of equipment. Including stripping it down to component level = inspecting all things, spare parts, etc.

  • Customer Oriented
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide exceptional service and maintain positive relationships with customers.

  • Safety Awareness
  • Understanding and adherence to safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

    You will be part of our customer center in Niagara Falls, NY. You will join a dynamic field service team, working remotely and spending a significant amount of time traveling to visit customers within your designated area, North / South Carolina.
