Traffic Signal Construction And Maintenance Crew
This position is for a Statewide Traffic Signal Construction and Maintenance crew. The ability to work out of town every week is required (lodging and per-diem provided). A Chauffeur's License (Class D) is required to begin employment.

About this position :
This position is to install, maintain, and repair traffic signal control devices. The incumbent possesses specialized knowledge in construction traffic signal control devices. The incumbent safely operates bucket trucks, pole trucks, directional drilling machines, trenchers, pavement saws, and passenger vehicles. The incumbent performs minor repairs and necessary maintenance on equipment and vehicles used to perform tasks.
Position assists the Foreman in the construction and maintenance of traffic signals, including : the installation of telephone cables, fiber optic cables, twisted pair cables, and electronic or computer components to operate traffic signal control devices.
