AIML - Machine Learning Engineer - Special Projects

In this role, you will : - Design and implement machine learning algorithms to aid in building user-facing interactive conversational features- Leverage multi-modal foundation models for rapid prototyping and iteration- Develop evaluation strategies to translate product requirements to objective metrics- Shepherd data collection and evaluation efforts to ensure rapid and measurable progress- Collaborate with key stakeholders in hardware engineering, software engineering and design to develop prototypes and evolve them into production systems (for example, Siri and Apple Intelligence features in Apple’s operating systems).

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or other STEM majors
• Experience with the use and evaluation of foundation models
• Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (Pytorch or Tensorflow)
• 2+ year of Hands-on industry experience building and evaluating Machine Learning or Natural Language Processing systems

Preferred Qualifications

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $181,100 and $318,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
