Job Title : Building Engineer

Location : Bloomington, MN

Pay : $26.00 – $35.00 per hour

Schedule :

Must be available for on-call rotation (1 / 3 of the time; minimal call-ins historically)

Job Overview :

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to support facilities maintenance across three locations in Bloomington, MN. This role involves hands-on work with HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general building upkeep. The ideal candidate will be mechanically inclined, proactive, and comfortable working independently across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities :

Perform routine and emergency maintenance across three facilities

Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems

Conduct general building repairs (e.g., carpentry, lighting, painting, cleanliness)

Maintain documentation of work performed using a CMMS system

Support preventive maintenance schedules and respond to service requests

Required Skills

Facilities maintenance and mechanical repair

HVAC, plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting

Carpentry and general building maintenance

Hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge

Preventive maintenance and installation experience

Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and EPA Universal certification (preferred)

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $35.00 / hr.
