About the role

As Vice President and Head of Product Design at Cloudflare, you will lead design teams across our product portfolio. You will guide the feel of the debugging interface for developers deploying Serverless Applications or simplify a rule builder for non-technical users securing their web apps. Your role may involve creating a vision, setting a roadmap, and ensuring high product quality and delivery.

The Product Design organization includes Product Designers, User Researchers, Design Operations, Design Engineering, and Design Systems, and is part of the broader Product organization. This role reports to the President of Product & Engineering.

Your work will impact products used by millions of people and thousands of companies daily. You will work closely with the company\'s leadership, product and engineering leaders, and other cross-functional stakeholders. Building a talented, diverse, and inclusive team will be key to your success.

What you\'ll do

• Lead, mentor, and grow the Product Design organization at Cloudflare (product design, design operations, design engineering, and user research).
• Build and refine design principles and practices.
• Foster a culture of diversity and inclusiveness.
• Collaborate with engineering and product leaders to establish near-term and long-term product vision.
• Refine and share design team culture and export best practices to product teams across the organization.
• Leverage quantitative and qualitative data to translate insights into accessible service and interface design.
• Own design, UX, and product experience best practices to refine and extend Cloudflare\'s design culture.
