Job Title

Employee is responsible for overseeing administrative and strategic planning functions for the College of Medicine Office of Faculty Affairs.

Duties & Responsibilities :

  • Advises and provides executive support to administrator, a faculty affairs director, and two associate directors.
  • Participates in the College-level salaried promotion and tenure process.
  • Supports the Faculty Development Strategic Planning subcommittees.
  • Facilitates the faculty awards cycle.
  • Manages planning and implementation of College-level events relating to Faculty Affairs.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Required :

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in academic administration.
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to work effectively independently and within a team setting.
  • Strong writing, interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete multiple time-sensitive tasks.
  • Understanding of faculty policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of and expertise in University systems.
  • Sensitivity to maintaining high level of confidentiality.
  • Ability to assess and measure outcomes.
  • Requires sitting for extended periods of time.
