Job Description

The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for performing assessments designed to gather data relevant to the patients individual respiratory care needs, developing a plan of care, implementing the plan, providing treatment and diagnostic services, organizing care, and evaluation of the effectiveness of the treatment / care provided. The Respiratory Therapist performs pulmonary function testing, sleep oximetry testing, EKG services and a variety of other services. The Respiratory Therapist is also responsible for patient, family, and staff education as it relates to patient’s pulmonary condition.

Preferred Skills

• Associate degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
• Registered as a Respiratory Therapist
• Valid license in these state of Wisconsin
• CPR Certification
• ACLS Certification preferred

FTE : PRN (as needed)

Shift : As needed days, Monday - Friday.

On call -1 day shift per month, 1 weekend day / month or 1 full weekend every other month. 1 holiday / year.
