The Senior Fixed Asset Accountant will be responsible for supporting the company's global fixed asset accounting processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across multiple legal entities and geographies in the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP. This role will play a critical part in supporting the month-end close, fixed asset subledger management, internal control compliance, and cross-functional coordination with Operations, IT, Controllership, External Financial Reporting and FP&A.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of accounting experience, including Big 4 or large public accounting exposure, a strong technical understanding of fixed asset accounting under US GAAP, and a CPA designation is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile the fixed asset subledger for multiple entities.
• Oversee capital project accounting (CIP) and ensure timely capitalization of completed assets.
• Ensure compliance with capitalization policies, useful life standards, impairment testing, and disposals.
• Partner with construction, IT, operations and other finance teams to validate project costs and coordinate asset capitalization.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for month-end close.
• Support flux analysis preparation, in addition to deliverables to the External Financial Reporting team.
• Ensure adherence to SOX / internal control requirements and support internal and external audits.
• Monitor compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures across entities.
• Assist with system enhancements, process improvements, and automation of fixed asset workflows.
• Support management with ad hoc analysis, reporting, and strategic initiatives.
