Adjunct Instructor / Professor - BSN Program

PURPOSE :

Non-Tenure Track Position in BSN Program. Primary expectations include teaching undergraduate courses (as assigned) in the School of Nursing.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS :

• Ability to plan and prepare course content and curriculum, utilizing assessment and effective methodologies of instruction for the enhancement of learning.
• Collaborate with other faculty members with development, implementation and evaluation of curriculum.
• Provide appropriate classroom / laboratory / clinical instruction for students enrolled in assigned nursing course(s).
• Maintain expertise in field of study and teaching pedagogy by attending seminars, workshops and classes for self-improvement and / or professional enhancement.
• Enrich the community through university outreach and assist in student development outside the classroom.
• Commitment to the philosophy and outcomes of the School of Nursing. Maintain professional development activities.
• Maintain positive relationships within the University and in the larger community.
• Other duties as assigned.
