Hospitalist – East Market

Duluth, Virginia, MN; Superior, WI

Essentia Health is seeking exceptional hospitalists to join our East Market Team. These hospitalists will primarily be based in Duluth, providing approximately 50% of their service there, while also covering our regional hospitals in Virginia and Superior.

PRACTICE SPECIFICS

• Ideal candidates should be flexible team players, willing to address complex issues in hospital medicine within a collaborative environment.
• Join a team of nearly 80 hospitalists, including physicians and NP / PAs.
• Enjoy great flexibility with a 1.0 FTE equating to 168 shifts, typically following a 7 / 7 schedule for 24 weeks per year.
• Mileage / rental car and lodging (if desired) are reimbursed for travel from Primary Location.
• Procedures are not required.
• Opportunities to participate in hospital–based research, quality, and clinical initiatives.
• Opportunity to engage with our inpatient teaching service for Duluth Family Medicine residents.
• Utilize Epic Electronic Medical Record throughout the entire Essentia system.
• Short–term, vent management (up to 24 hours) is required in Virginia.  Additional training supplied if necessary.
• Dedicated nocturnist teams

COMPENSATION

$348,103 – $383,262.  Hired candidates may be eligible to receive additional compensation in the form of bonuses, quality incentives or production–based compensation.
