Role Description
We are pleased to announce that Amicus has been retained once again on an exclusive basis to recruit another attorney for one of Texas' most venerable institutions. With over 900,000 acres of resource-rich Permian and Delaware Basin acreage under management, our client traces its history to frontier Texas and the early days of the oil and gas industry.
This position will provide the opportunity to work on large scale land transactions, oil and gas leasing, renewable energy projects (wind and solar), bitcoin mining, and production and sale of water resources.
Our ideal candidate will have experience, either in a law firm or in-house, with land use agreements (easements / leases); oil and gas leasing; third-party contract negotiation; and conservation / sustainability. Corporate transactional experience is a plus, but not required.
Comp and benefits are well above market and competitive with leading law firms. Culture is relaxed and casual with work-from-home Fridays the norm. Uptown Dallas headquarters with limited travel expectations.
Please let me know if you would like to discuss in more detail. All conversations are strictly confidential.
