The purpose of this job is to perform specialized work associated with interpretation and enforcement of Rutherford County Zoning Resolution and related codes / resolutions. Duties and responsibilities include patrolling the county to identify potential violations, investigating complaints, performing inspections, enforcing applicable codes and ordinances, issuing citations, participating in court activities, maintaining records, and providing information and assistance. Reports to Building Codes Director.
