Pay : $20.00 - $26.00 per hour, Negotiable if Certified.

Job Overview :
Insight Contracting is seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Electrician to join our team. This role involves performing installation, maintenance, service, and repair of electrical systems and fixtures in both commercial and residential settings.
The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry, a strong understanding of electrical codes, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should also have their own tools and be committed to safety standards to ensure project security.
Key Responsibilities :
- Electrical Troubleshooting : Diagnose and repair electrical issues, including outlets, lighting, and devices.
- System Installation & Maintenance : Install and maintain AC and DC electrical wiring systems, as well as fixtures.
- Breaker & Panel Maintenance : If licensed, inspect, diagnose, and maintain breaker boxes and electrical panels.
- Tenant Communication : Troubleshoot and resolve work orders with tenants both over the phone and in person.
- Safety Compliance : Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) or respirators when necessary, following industry standards.
- Record Keeping : Log accurate time and detailed work records using the service-tracking app on a mobile device.
- Tracking Protocols : Adhere to and actively promote company tracking protocols and procedures, including using data for billing confirmation, emergency response optimization, safe-driving habits, and recording driving data in case of an incident.
- Team Collaboration : Communicate effectively with management, tenants, and other maintenance staff.
- Other Duties : Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications :
Driver’s License : A valid driver’s license and corporate-insurable driving record.Experience : At least 1 year of practical experience in electrical work. Journeyman or Electrician’s License is preferred.Skills : Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and electrical codes. Proficiency with tools, equipment, and materials relevant to the trade.Physical Requirements : Ability to grasp, lift, maneuver, rotate, and use various trades tools and equipment. Must be able to lift and carry heavy objects (50-80 lbs.).
