Job Description

The Facility Security Officer is responsible for implementing, managing and auditing compliance of the National Industrial Security Program for all activities at the facility.

Responsibilities :

Manages facility access and perimeter controls, and closed area requirements

Serves as the Insider Threat Security Officer and is responsible for implementation, managing and reporting insider threat items

Interacts with all levels of personnel and government management personnel to ensure contract security compliance with National Industrial Security Operating Manual

Administers the ITAR / EAR registration and compliance. Ensures that all employees are trained on requirements

Qualifications and Requirements :

BA or BS degree and 5+ years of experience with personnel and industrial security or 8+ years of experience with personnel and industrial security in lieu of a degree preferred

FSO Certification and training

Top Secret clearance required – current active status

Working knowledge with DISS, NBIS, SWFT, and NISS

The base salary range for this position is $65k-$85k, excluding benefits, bonuses, or other compensation. Your final salary will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, location, and internal pay equity. Please note, hiring at the top of the range is uncommon to allow room for future salary growth.
