Perform procedures such as neonatal airway management, intubation, UVC / UAC placement, and needle decompression for pneumothorax. Collaborate with emergency department and anesthesia teams for advanced care needs in pediatric patients. Ensure detailed documentation for each patient encounter. Qualifications Active CA medical license Board Certified or Board Eligible within 3-5 years of completing residency 2 years of recent hospital clinical activity in the specialty NRP and PALS certifications required Demonstrated ability to handle neonatal and pediatric emergencies effectively Working Hours 24-hour call coverage from 6 AM to 6 AM for the assigned dates Skills Required : Neonatal and pediatric intubation, central line placement, needle decompression Preferred : Ventilator management, chest tube insertion, EKG interpretation, lumbar puncture Capability to manage both acute and chronic ventilation for newborns and potentially pediatric patients.
