Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Obstetrics and Gynecology Physician to work OBGYN locum call shifts in Garden City, Kansas (KS) . Starting potentially in 2025, the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Obstetrics and Gynecology role :

  • Location : Garden City, KS
  • Shift Types : Clinic and Inpatient Call

Coverage Dates Needed :

Privileged Providers Only :

  • October 6-14
  • October 29-31

    • New Candidates & Privileged Providers :

  • 2026
  • April 1-5
  • April 11-14
  • April 22-26
  • May 11-14
  • May 19-31
  • June 11-14
  • June 16-30
  • Schedule : 24-hour call shifts, 7 : 00 AM - 7 : 00 AM
  • Call Type : Call-back only - provider is only required to come in if a patient needs to be seen or managed
  • Clinic : Weekday clinic duties include :

    • New and established obstetrics visits

  • Gynecology consultations
  • Surgical consults
  • Surgical blocks twice weekly for non-emergent procedures
  • Required procedures include :

    • Cesarean sections (minimum 5 in past 24 months)

  • Hysterectomies (minimum 5 in past 24 months)
  • Deliveries (minimum 50 in past 24 months)

    • Requirements of the Obstetrics and Gynecology role :

    KS state license; active, unrestricted or IMLC (LOQ in hand)

    Board certified-OBGYN or Truly Board eligible (within 5 yrs of residency)

    Active BLS & DEA

    Must submit procedure logs with presentations

    Must be available to cover any of the dates listed.
