Auto Mechanic

Connie & Dick's Auto Service Center Inc. is seeking a dedicated and skilled full-time Auto Mechanic to join our team in Claremont, CA.

THE BASICS

Pay : We offer a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $100,000+ per year (hourly, base + commission).

Schedule : The position of Auto Mechanic requires a commitment to a standard work schedule from 8 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, Monday through Friday . This schedule allows for a balanced work-life experience with weekends free.

YOUR DAY

As an Auto Mechanic, you will start your day by reviewing the day's digital work orders and preparing your workstation with the necessary tools and equipment. You will perform a variety of tasks, including automotive maintenance, vehicle inspection, troubleshooting, diagnostics, wheel and suspension service, and A / C service. Depending on your current certifications, you may use advanced diagnostic tools to diagnose and repair a range of vehicles, including hybrids and electric models like Teslas. Throughout the day, you will maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring efficiency and safety in your operations. You will also stay up to date with the latest automotive technologies and techniques, enhancing your skills and contributing to the high standards of our service center.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN AUTO MECHANIC

• 5+ years of professional industry service experience with European vehicles
• Graduation from an automotive trade program
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Desire to grow and expand your automotive service and repair trade craft
• Ability to leverage technology and use advanced diagnostic tools
