As a Senior Software Engineer, AI, you will be working across the entire application stack. You collaborate extensively to design, build, and test functionality in our award-winning, cloud based system. The Opportunity

As a Senior AI Engineer, you’ll architect and build agentic workflows that redefine how professional services firms operate. Using cutting-edge protocols like the Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent (A2A) collaboration, you’ll design AI systems that don’t just assist—they act, orchestrating workflows across tools, data, and teams.

You’ll collaborate with a world-class engineering team to push beyond traditional SaaS, embedding autonomy, reasoning, and intelligence into the very fabric of BigTime’s platform.

What You’ll Do

• Architect MCP-based frameworks that enable LLMs to connect seamlessly with BigTime and third-party ecosystems (Salesforce, QuickBooks, Jira, Hubspot, Intacct, and beyond).
• Design and implement agentic control planes for governance, security, and auditability—ensuring safe, explainable autonomy.
• Orchestrate multi-agent workflows using A2A patterns, allowing agents to plan, delegate, and adapt across dynamic environments.
• Benchmark agent performance with emerging standards (e.g., LiveMCP-101) to validate orchestration and execution.
• Enhance resilience and scalability by building fault-tolerant, observable, and distributed AI-driven services.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, data science, and platform teams to transform how professional services operate.
• Continuously explore bleeding-edge AI methods and bring fresh ideas into production.

Who You Are

What We Offer

The salary for this position is between $120,000-$160,000 annually. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, this position may be eligible for additional types of compensation such a bonuses.
