Commercial Credit Manager

This role will be responsible for assisting the Credit Analysis Manager in the direction, oversight and the day-to-day management of the commercial credit department. This role will have direct reports. Specific duties include Participate in the training and coaching of credit analysts and any staff involved in a rotation, or any intern; Participate in the interview and recruitment process for new Commercial Credit Analysts; Assign incoming items to the appropriate analysts, if needed; Assist in the development of the training curriculum for the department and implement this training, as appropriate; Prepare monthly and quarterly Credit Administration Reports including but not limited to : Reg O, Higher Risk Loan Report, and Supervisory Loan to Value; Perform the duties of the manager when the manager is absent; Back up manager with third party vendors, such as Thomson Reuters, RMA, and VerticalIQ, for administrator functions and relationship management; Develop, communicate, and maintain performance criteria on direct reports, as well as providing feedback on other department associates to manager; May make salary recommendations as appropriate; Approve timesheets of direct reports and back up manager with same; Other duties as assigned. Must have Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting and 3+ years' credit department or commercial loan related experience OR any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background; Demonstrates intermediate level of credit underwriting and accounting knowledge; Demonstrates knowledge of loan and credit policies; Demonstrates the awareness and ability to share knowledge with staff; Demonstrates ability to appropriately provide constructive feedback to direct reports; Demonstrates ability to work with diverse teams that encompasses all levels of associates from various areas of the Bank, by phone and in person; Demonstrates strong written & verbal communication skills; and Demonstrates strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Windows

Compensation Range : $57,760.00 - $124,170.00
