IT Manager - Network (Hybrid)
Network Manager works with all locations to provide strong leadership for current Network and System Administrators while defining the future of the infrastructure and application environment. This individual is responsible for design, implementation, maintenance, and support of all network and server equipment in multiple locations. The Network Manager owns the team, tools, and infrastructure enterprise wide and is responsible for ensuring proper change management as organization continues to grow and evolve.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Leads, coaches, and mentors the IT Network Administrators, System Administrators, and System Engineers
- Supervises and mentors team members with existing and modern technology across multiple physical locations
- Responsible for design, implementation, maintenance, and support of all on-premise network and server equipment in multiple locations
- Collaborates with IT Security Officer to maintain and enforce IT / Cyber Security Standards and Processes
- Oversees the technical and architectural direction of new projects, including network, security, and software deployments
- Performs network maintenance and system upgrades including service packs, patches, hot fixes, and security configurations
- Initiates, coordinates, and enforces systems, IT policies, and procedures
- Administration of network including routing, switching, firewalls, and VPN services
- Monitors network, servers, and SAN performances to ensure system availability and reliability
- Recommends IT strategies, policies, and procedures by evaluation of organizational outcomes and benefits
- Assists Cyber Security Administrators and Engineers with network security including penetration and vulnerability scanning
- Manages IT vendors, relationships, and engagement
- Responds rapidly to critical issues as well as anticipate and prevent potential problems, which may require working the hours necessary to complete an IT initiative
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a business or computer science related field or equivalent work experience of 7+ years in a similar roleExperience in Manufacturing environment preferably Food and Beverage, a plusExperience in leadership role, including developing employees and motivating large teamsExperience with Aruba and Microsoft 365 requiredMust have experience with on-site serversStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to speak to all levels of stakeholders across the organizationWillingness to travel to other sites domestically ~20% annuallyWillingness to work a hybrid work schedule weekly (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)In-depth knowledge of escalation procedures, incident management, and other disciplines related to Help Desk, a plusEEO Employer
