Key Responsibilities :
In this role, you will be an integral part of our clinical team, providing essential psychological services and championing our commitment to evidence-based, recovery-oriented care. Your primary duties will include :
- Clinical Assessment & Diagnosis : Conduct comprehensive initial and annual psychological evaluations, including testing, scoring, interpretation, and the timely completion of integrated written reports.
- Therapeutic Intervention : Provide evidence-based individual and group therapy, adapting modalities to meet the personalized recovery goals of a diverse patient population.
- Treatment Collaboration : Actively participate in clinical treatment meetings, contributing psychological expertise to develop, implement, and refine master treatment plans.
- Patient & Family Engagement : Build and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance with patients and their families / caregivers, facilitating family therapy sessions to support the treatment process.
- Psychoeducation : Develop and lead campus-wide therapeutic and psychoeducational groups as a key component of our active treatment program.
- Clinical Supervision : Provide supervision and guidance to master's level clinicians and practicum students, fostering their professional growth (if applicable).
- Compliance & Documentation : Maintain meticulous and compliant documentation of all patient interactions in accordance with facility, departmental, HIPAA, and Indiana state regulations.
Qualifications for Success :
Required Education & Licensure :
A Ph.D. or Psy.D. in Clinical or Counseling Psychology from an accredited institution.A current, valid license to practice as a Psychologist issued by the Indiana State Psychology Board.Required Knowledge & Skills :
Demonstrated knowledge of psychological theory, practice, and the specific laws governing psychology in the State of Indiana.Proficiency in administering, scoring, and interpreting a wide range of psychological assessments, with the ability to translate findings into actionable treatment recommendations.Expertise in delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals and groups.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear clinical reports and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.A firm understanding of and commitment to the ethical guidelines of the American Psychological Association (APA).In-depth knowledge of Indiana state rules and statutes, as well as HIPAA regulations, pertaining to patient privacy, confidentiality, and record-keeping.The ability to analyze clinical data to identify trends and adapt treatment approaches to meet the evolving needs of the patient population.Physical Requirements :
