Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, Special Education, or Visual Impairments, active Teacher of the Visually Impaired certification and 1+ years Teacher of the Visually Impaired experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

An educational institution in Gallup, NM, is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher specializing in services for the Visually Impaired. This full-time, contract position is for the 2025-2026 school year and supports students from kindergarten through 12th grade. The role demands a committed professional with virtual teaching experience to effectively engage and support visually impaired learners in a dynamic, inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) tailored to the needs of visually impaired students.
